What does the AI Director actually do?

Is the AI Director placing trades, or something else?

It's a supervisor, not the trader. On a schedule it reads the market (news, regime, your portfolio) and green-lights the open, enables/disables strategies for current conditions, and nudges the consensus and risk thresholds — all within a hard, clamped safety whitelist so it can't do anything dangerous. The consensus engine still places the actual trades. Turn it off and the bot trades on its own.
